There's a very faint chill in the air, and chasing it, a desire for layering up with fresh new-season staples as we enter a new season.

First off the blocks is a strong collection of our favourite rugby shirts. There’s something effortlessly wearable about a rugby shirt in timeless colours. Strong stripes, balanced proportions and simple detailing make it an enduring, dependable favourite.

This season, we're sporting a mix of classic hues – Oxford Blue and our ever-present Ecru – alongside bold stripes, to team with denim or chinos. We photographed Laurie in and around Marylebone, styling the rugby's with denim and our updated Bouclé Chore Jacket that boasts a cashmere and wool mix. Denim paired with a rugby and bouclé makes for a tactile, comfortable and stylish combination at this time of year.
