We've got you covered...
The Final Layer...
Layer up with outerwear that will go the distance.
Our coats are made in a small, family-run workshop in Northamptonshire that has been making outerwear for country pursuits since the seventies. Our particular brief is a little different. We like our coats to have a pared-back country feel and to look just as good on a city street as they do on a muddy lane.
A coat is usually a year in the making. We start looking at cloths twelve months ahead, choosing the colours that will set the tone for the collection. From there, we build the knitwear and outerwear around one another, so the layers you reach for on a cold morning sit naturally together.
This winter, we’ve added Mocha Rust to the Farington Field Coat line-up. It’s a warm, earthy shade that sits alongside Navy, Loden and Brown Check.
Our Rossendale coats in Fawn and Russet pick up the same palette, with muted patterns and touches of light tan and cranberry. The 380g Shetland cloth is woven in Scotland using top-dyed yarn, which gives it a slightly weathered look and a lovely depth of colour.
We make our coats in small runs, so there’s every chance yours will be the only one you see on your walk into town.
