In the 1800s, weavers of Madras cloth started imitating Scottish tartan weaves worn by the Scottish regiments stationed in Madras, India. The tartan pattern is a juxtaposition of unevenly placed stripes criss-crossing at the right angles.

We have chosen light linen cloth to use this season to provide a crisp and breathable shirt which is perfect for summer days.

A pure linen shirt, featuring our soft button down collar collar, single button rounded cuffs, a gauntlet button, knife pleats, split Yoke back and available in Blue or for MTM over shirts and chore jackets.
