As the temperature drops, we’re opening the doors to our Shetland Store - a celebration of one of Britain’s great wool traditions.
Shetland wool comes from a small, hardy breed of sheep native to Scotland’s northernmost islands, where wool and knitting have shaped daily life for centuries. Warm, lightweight and resilient, shetland wool has a distinctive softness and texture - less polished than cashmere, perhaps, but with considerably more character.
This is knitwear made to be worn. Shetland’s natural loft provides warmth without unnecessary weight, while its durability makes it ideal for winter layering: from a crewneck over an Oxford shirt to a substantial sports jacket or a traditional Fair Isle layer.
These are pieces rooted in craftsmanship and made with longevity in mind: dependable, full of character and designed to become even better with wear.
