We’re very excited to launch what we like to think of as the perfect chukka boot. Developed exclusively for us by our friends at Trickers, England's oldest shoemaker, the Stow Plain Toe Chukka Boot is the culmination of thoughtful design with exacting detail, combining understated ease with steadfast craftsmanship.

Trickers shoes are made entirely by hand in Northampton and offer footwear that lasts a lifetime. With the Stow Plain Toe Chukka Boot, we’ve taken the classic country style and put our city spin on it - smart enough for the city, sturdy enough for a weekend further afield - it is the pair you'll find yourself reaching for without much thought, and wearing for years with increasing affection.

Tested on regular dog walks around the Cotswolds and daily commutes into London, this unlined chukka boot is built on a relaxed last that lends it an easy, almost familiar comfort from the very first outing.

Cut from a dark bitter chocolate Castorino suede, it features a very fine nap. The upper is unlined for a softer, more yielding feel, allowing the boot to mould quickly to the foot and wear in with remarkable grace. There is an intended immediacy to it: soft from day one, reassuring underfoot, and more than capable when the weather turns characteristically uncooperative.

The shape is easy but composed, striking that useful balance between refinement and practicality. It sits as naturally with selvedge denim as it does with our brushed cotton chinos and high twist trousers, the sort of boot that slips effortlessly into the rhythm of everyday dressing.
