Inspired by muted highland tones, this traditional patterned Fairisle Slipover celebrates a distinctly earthy character. The design features softly blended tones of moss green, lichen, heathered olive and weathered brown, lifted with subtle accents of deep damson and warm oat.

The Fairisle pattern is built in layered bands: delicate dotted stripes, geometric diamond motifs, and intricate peerie detailing that echo classic island knitting traditions. The border trim grounds the piece with a natural, woodland palette, evoking bracken-covered hillsides and autumn hedgerows.

Crafted in a beautifully textured Shetland wool with a gently rustic handle, this slipover offers warmth and weight. The V-neck silhouette makes it ideal for layering over a crumpled shirt to create a relaxed look suited to both country and town.

Made for us by Jamieson's of Shetland, our Fairisle Slipover’s can be layered in many different ways, under a jacket and flannel trousers or coupled with a pair of jeans and suede boots.

Sizing - refer to the size chart or measure a sweater that fits you well from under the armpit to under the armpit and multiply the size by 2 then this is the size to order i.e. if a sweater measures 22" x 2 = 44" then this is the size to order.

In our experience our knitwear chest size equates to the following:

38" = XS

40" = S

42" = M

44" = L

46" = XL
